350 Australia: Rio Tinto #CutAllTies Online Working Bee

Tuesday 30 Jun
- Tuesday 30 Jun

About this event

Rio Tinto is a member of one of the worlds worst climate-wrecking lobby groups – the Minerals Council of Australia [MCA]. The Minerals Council has held back action on climate change for the last 20 years with extensive lobbying, advertising campaigns and a revolving door between parliament and mining companies. We are calling on them to stand up for our climate and #CutAllTies.

Join us on Zoom to contact employees of Rio Tinto to encourage them to apply pressure internally to leave the MCA. We’ll be using LinkedIn, so if you don’t have an account, we’ll be more than happy to help you set one up before the day.

RSVP and we will send through the call details. Help us raise the alarm within Rio Tinto. If Rio Tinto is serious about working together to solve climate change, they must leave the Minerals Council for good.
