Join fellow Queensland Reef-lovers as we raise our voices for our Great Barrier Reef at this crucial state election.

In just over 100 days Queenslanders will go to the polls. Right now, policies that will determine the future of our Reef are being decided.

This is our chance to push for a safe, thriving future for both our Great Barrier Reef and everyday Queenslanders as we recover from the fallout of COVID-19.

Join us to learn how we can seize this moment and send a powerful message to the politicians vying for our votes.

What: Fight For Our Reef QLD Election Launch

When: 6 – 7 pm, Thursday 13 August

Where: Online (we’ll send you the Zoom link when you register)

Join us for an inspirational evening to hear from experts about the state of our beautiful Reef and learn how you can make a difference at this crucial time.

1) Hear from expert speakers:

Dr Selina Ward, esteemed coral reef scientist at the University of Queensland and member of our AMCS board.

Dr Rebecca Huntley, one of Australia’s foremost researchers on social trends and author of new book “How to Talk About Climate Change in a Way That Makes a Difference”.

2) Learn about our strategy to push all sides of politics to rebuild from COVID-19 by investing in clean jobs for our Reef.

3) Come away with concrete steps to take action for our Reef this election.
