We’re escalating our calls for the Queensland Government to implement a #RenewableRecovery and we’re organising our communities to do it!
Queensland is doing it tough right now, especially in regional areas like Cairns. We need the Government to build publicly owned renewable energy projects to provide much needed employment, as well as accelerating the transition to renewables which we have to do to avoid the effects of catastrophic global heating.
Over the next six weeks we’ll be using effective, targeted tactics to get more than 1000 Queenslanders sign on to our open letter as well as winning support from at least 20 businesses!
If you haven’t been involved in the campaign so far, no worries! We’ll be starting with a campaign refresher to give you everything you need to do, before putting together a plan for the next week, and finally finishing up the meeting by taking some really easy digital actions!
