During the meeting, CCL will introduce themselves, tell of any good news, and long-time members explain to newcomers how Citizens’ Climate Lobby advocacy for action on climate change complements protest demonstrations. Come join the discussion on plans for raising community awareness of actions that need to be taken to mitigate the looming climate catastrophe.
The meeting will have guest speaker, Mr Peter Todd, Leader of the Lobbying Action Team at CCL Australia.
Peter has a wealth of experience communicating and interacting with politicians, and has led and been involved in numerous lobby meetings since he joined CCL Australia. In his presentation he will tell attendees how to prepare for meetings with community leaders in particular MPs.
