About this event

RSVP for Zoom link: http://www.darebincan.org.au/support_our_kids

Please join us and local school strikers in an online webinar to find out how we can support their fight for a better future.

School Strikers are calling on the Government to #FundOurFutureNotGas. Right now, the Government is deciding how to spend billions in public money on recovery projects. It’s critical that we pressure them to fast-track investment in renewables, not fossil fuels like gas.

We will also hear about the proposed mega gas project in Westernport Bay and the community campaign to stop it.

Guest speakers:

Lumina Rotar, Zai and Kavi – School Strike 4 Climate

Jeff Nottle – President of the Phillip Island Conservation Society

Chaired by Professor Ann Sanson, Melbourne University.
