Environmental Justice Australia: Seminar Series- Forest Cases Update

About this event

This year has been huge for Victoria’s forests and the wildlife that calls them home.  Despite the summer bushfires that wiped out vast swathes of forest and so much of our precious wildlife, logging has continued across the state.

It’s more critical than ever that our environment laws are working properly to protect the forests and wildlife we love.

Right now, we have three active court cases seeking to enforce important legal protections for our forests and threatened species. These cases, and others, are ensuring our environment laws stand up in Court to protect forests and wildlife at this critical time, and have halted logging in important areas of forest. There is still so much to be done to make sure the forests and wildlife we love are given the protection they need to survive.

Join us for a webinar to hear more about the cases from our lawyers.

RSVP now for the online update on our forest cases on Wednesday 23 September at 7-8pm.

Please arrive at 6.55 for a 7pm start. Those who RSVP will be sent a Zoom link ahead of the meeting.
