About this event

In a time of quarantine, online fellowship, racial injustice, intensifying storms, and mass migration, holding space to act on climate change can feel overwhelming.

Taking the first step is critical but sometimes it is difficult to know where to start. This Season of Creation, we invite you to be part of our climate themed Neighbourhood Night and join a range of speakers talking about different ways we can take responsibility, and live in a way that supports and sustains our common home -Planet A. Each speaker will tell stories and inspire action about what we can do at any level to make a difference across each of these areas;

• How we eat

• How we use energy

• How we transport ourselves

• How we invest

This is for everyone. Seasoned leaders, curious parents, concerned grandparents, and all stewards of creation.Details on the speakers will be announced next week We are happy to host this event with UNITING in support of Uniting’s Climate Action Strategy.

Make Your Change acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of the Lands on which we live, play, advocate, and activate.  We acknowledge their continuing connection to Country and community, and pay our respect to Elders past and present. We recognise Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the First Australians.  We are committed to honouring their unique cultural, and spiritual relationship to the land, air, waters and seas—as well as their rich contributions to society. We acknowledge the sovereignty, land, and law of First Nations were never ceded—this always was and always will be the Land of First Nations people.
