About this event

Join us for our next Groundswell webinar to hear from 5 Australian farmers about food, agriculture and environmental challenges and solutions!

When: Tuesday 27th October, 12–1.10pm

Where: Online via Zoom

Australia’s farmers and food production systems are at the forefront of climate and environmental crises. From the collapse of bees (which pollinate our crops) to increasing drought and extreme weather events, farmers are seeing our environment change before their eyes.

The good news is that since farmers manage 50% of Australia’s land, they can play a huge role in solutions to environmental and climate challenges. From on-farm renewable energy to Indigenous knowledge systems, to protecting and restoring vegetation and soils, there’s a transformation happening in Australian agriculture.

Hear from a panel of five farmers from across Australia discuss these big issues!
