About this event

The Andrews govt will soon make its decision on Emissions Reduction Targets and finalise the state’s first climate strategy. Will they be bold and ambitious?…

Join FOE on Wednesday 28 October for their final campaign info night for 2020 and be a part of a strong finish to the year.

Act on Climate has campaigned for science-based targets since November 2017 and is now writing a People’s Climate Strategy. With the Federal govt failing to invest in a clean, renewables-led recovery, now more than ever we need Victoria to show greater leadership on climate. We need to grow our campaign to secure bold and ambitious climate policies for the state. Act on Climate representatives will present political analysis, our revised strategy, answer your questions, and outline immediate next steps to influence the state govt’s decisions. We’d love to see you on Wednesday 28 October so you get more involved with our grassroots campaign. All are welcome. No prior knowledge required.
