Hunter LEAN are hosting an online event on July 29th to discuss the future of work in the Hunter region. The shift to renewable energy is coming fast and bringing surprising opportunities. How do we ensure workers and communities prosper in a new industrial landscape?

Hunter LEAN have invited the following passionate and incredibly qualified speakers to join them online where participants will have an opportunity to ask questions related to the future of energy and work in our region:

  • Hon Kate Washington MP, Shadow Minister for Environment and Heritage, and Shadow Minister for Rural Health
  • Steve Murphy, NSW Secretary of the Australian Manufacturing Workers’ Union
  • Dominique Hes, Principal Researcher at Beyond Zero Emissions
  • Tony Wood, Energy Program Director at the Grattan Institute
