About this event

This event is happening in Darwin, NT.

We’re producing and buying an unsustainable amount of fashion. The way we design, produce, and use clothes have large scale negative environmental and social impacts.

That’s why we’re hosting a Clothes swap party!

Join us for a fun and thrifty evening where you can update your wardrobe, save money and engage in the secondhand fashion revolution!

The way it works:
1. Choose up to 3 pieces of clothing or shoes you no longer love. We will only be accepting quality items, anything you’d happily pass onto a friend – in good condition, unstained and functional.

2. Check your items in from 6pm – 6.30pm. We’ll be using a points system to grade the items, 3 points for designer, 2 points for vintage and 1 point for all other good quality items.

3. Grab a drink and bite to eat whilst you wait for us to set up shop.

4. Swapping begins at 7.15pm. We’re asking for a gold coin donation to participate, with all proceeds going to COOLmob to enable more sustainable living workshops and events. Any clothing remaining at the end of the swap will be donated to local secondhand stores.
