About this event

We can’t go back to the way things were.

Where nature and our climate are exploited in the pursuit of profits, where logging destroys sacred areas, and where corporate power trumps the wishes of the communities time and time again.

The time is now to forge a new way. We must turn to each other and the power of collective action. When we get skilled and organised we can change the balance of power so communities and nature can thrive.

In order to change everything, we need everyone.

RSVP and let us know you would love to build on the skills to protect nature!

The program is an overview of skills you can use to build our social movements, change the narrative, strategise, pressure targets, and win campaigns for nature and communities.

In this training we draw on lessons learned from our movements and our 65 year history of being the voice for nature in NSW.

Whether you’re new to the environment movement or tapped into a long history, there’ll be something here for you.

Workshop topics include:

  • Stories of the movement
  • Developing your personal story
  • Mapping and understanding power
  • Critical path
  • Meet your MP
  • Media and social media skills
  • Recruitment
  • Forming an action group

You will leave the training with a deeper understanding of power, strategy and how we’re going to win.

Register now for this two day training to build the movement we need to win.

This is a unique moment to be a voice for nature in NSW. When hundreds of us take action together we can have a powerful impact.
