About this event

Corethics is proud to present Newcastle’s 3rd Annual ReelOzind! Film Fundraiser. All proceeds to the Bali Water Protection Program.

We are excited to be hosting a screening of ReelOzInd! Short Film Festival again this year thanks to the Australia Indonesia Centre. The short 10-minute films are rated G/PG so children are welcome to attend too.

This event not only supports rising Australian and Indonesian Film Makers but is also an opportunity to raise much-needed funds for the water crisis in Bali, Indonesia.

Our Cause

In 2016, Corethics discovered the harrowing reality that 60% of Bali’s water table was declared dried. Since then, the team at Corethics has been supporting IDEP’s Bali Water Protection Program to assist in addressing depleting water supplies – recharge wells and much-needed education.

We feel a deep sense of gratitude that we are fortunate enough to have clean running water available to us every day here in Australia. That is why we believe clean water should be available for our neighbours in Bali too.

Right now, as the world grapples with the COVID-19 pandemic it has never been more important to have access to clean running water.
