Facilitated by shared value expert Hugh Foley, this workshop builds on the fundamental theory covered in the ‘Introduction to shared value’ workshop to explore how companies can identify and develop shared value strategies to address social and environmental challenges.
Through exercises and case studies, the class will focus on the tactics a company and its partners can use to apply the shared value theory in a practical and tangible way. Engaging in interactive activities and case studies, participants will gain an understanding of how to design and integrate shared value initiatives within their organisations.
The session will cover:
- A brief re-cap of fundamental shared value theory
- Developing a shared value initiative – how to identify opportunities and develop a shared value approach
- Embedding shared value at the enterprise level – linking purpose, capacity building and leadership to shared value
- Working with partners
