About this event

Keen to connect with your community, clean-up the area and listen to some funky live tunes? Join us @ Holloways Beach Seaside Markets on Sunday, 8th November from 8am – 12pm.

Seaside Scavenge is a beach clean-up where the litter you collect becomes a currency to purchase pre-loved clothes, books and more that have been donated by your local community! Music by Ivy Music and Ashcat Soundsystems, MC by the lovely Di Queen! (More bands TBA)

Seaside Scavenge is an organization which has hosted more than 75 events, around Australia and the world! We’re teaming up with Parley for Oceans, Tangaroa Blue and eCo-labs to bring you a fun-filled Sunday morning that is great for our community!

Yep, trash becomes ‘ca$h’ because waste is a valuable resource not something that can just be thrown away!

HOUSE KEEPING:As we all know… hosting events during covid times can be tricky. The health and safety of our attendees is the MOST important thing to us.
For these reasons we have asked participants to pre-register for the event.

1) Please register via the link to confirm your spot. If you’re attending with children, friends or partners, please ensure you register them as well. You’ll need to have a (FREE) ticket to participate on the day. You’re free to walk-in on the day (subject to availability of tickets).

We’ll just ask you to register at the event.

2) Please select which hour time slot you’d like to attend. This is important so we can monitor the number of people in the space for covid-safety measures. Please be sure to arrive in your time slot, so others can participate freely. 🙂

3) You’ll need to present your Eventbrite barcode and (FREE) ticket to participate.

If you have quality pre-loved clothing, toys, books you’d like to donate, you can contact Host – @Elle Myers or text 0466 745 942. We’ll pick up items the week before the event, so we can give them a good clean & sort them

If you’d like to Volunteer to make this a great event, we’d LOVE to have you! You can apply by filling out this form: https://forms.gle/VJpVGWLoG1bCvbBw5

– As always, please stay home if you have any flu-like symptoms or if you have been in contact with anyone with flu-like symptoms or anyone who has tested positive to Covid-19 in the past 14 days
– Please download the COVIDSafe app before attending.

– Please ensure you keep a safe distance of 1.5m between people at all times.
