About this event

The demand for ‘Green jobs’ has been central in the Australian climate movement for many years now. The people of Australia recognise the importance of a just transition away from the fossil fuel sector and towards a greener economy. But what are green jobs and how can our society make the transition?

We will hear from multiple speakers across different disciplines discuss the green jobs and the potential for a just transition.

We will also have time at the end to discuss what a green economy looks like for us and what we can do to help Australia have a just transition.
