Following the recent launch of our rebooted Office Hours program – we’re bringing you a weekly spotlight session on our amazing advisors and the ways in which they can help you. 

This week’s spotlight: IP and Sustainability!

We’ll sit down for a chat with two of our awesome advisors Joanne and Peter to learn about the problems they love to help people solve!

Meet Joanne Taranto, Sustainability & Community Engagement Pro!

Jo Taranto is a passionate and energetic sustainability and health communicator with postgraduate health science and environmental qualifications. With nearly 20 years experience in behaviour change she knows that’s entertainment and empowerment is key to informing audiences and shaping communities.

Director of Good for the Hood, a consultancy which offers media, engagement and communication services. Jo is also an advisory board member for Venture Cafe Sydney and has helped start ups and businesses connect with industry, government and communities around Australia.

Peter Franke, IP Strategy Wiz!

Peter is Principal at FrankeHyland, a leading IP law firm. Peter can help in assessing the IP needs, risks and opportunities of your venture, and developing an international IP strategy to support your goals.

He has worked with researchers, inventors, entrepreneurs, investors, SMEs, listed companies and large multinational businesses.

Their key activity is helping to identify and protect IP internationally.
