The NSW Environment Protection Authority, in conjunction with Willoughby City Council, will be holding a Household Chemical CleanOut event in the Willoughby Council area. Bring your old and unwanted household chemicals along and we will dispose of and/or recycle them for you, for free.
Not sure what to bring along? You can drop off household quantities of:
- Paint, strippers and varnishes
- Pesticides, herbicides and poisons
- Solvents and household cleaners
- Motor oils, fuels and fluids
- Batteries
- Gas bottles
- Pool and hobby chemicals
- Fluorescent globes and tubes
Only household quantities accepted: 20L or 20kg maximum container size except paint – up to 100L of paint accepted.
Before you attend, please place all materials in the rear of your vehicle, remain inside your vehicle and our contractors will collect your items. Contractors onsite will be wearing personal protective equipment and following social distancing measures.
