Citizens’ Climate Lobby Australia is a non-profit, non-partisan, grassroots advocacy and education organisation focused on accelerating climate change solutions through democracy.

We are volunteer-driven — we write to, meet and talk with politicians, citizens, community leaders, business leaders and media from across the political spectrum. We promote solutions that will be effective in reducing carbon emissions, as well as driving a transition away from fossil fuels and towards the renewable energy future we all want for Australia.

Citizens Climate Lobby started in the USA in 2007. Since then it has expanded and is now located in 30+ countries across Africa, Europe, UK, Asia and Central America. Citizens’ Climate Lobby Australia started in 2014.

In order to generate the political will necessary for effective action on climate change we train, support and provide the tools for our volunteers to engage with leaders, the media and the public.

Make Your Change acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of the Lands on which we live, play, advocate, and activate.  We acknowledge their continuing connection to Country and community, and pay our respect to Elders past and present. We recognise Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the First Australians.  We are committed to honouring their unique cultural, and spiritual relationship to the land, air, waters and seas—as well as their rich contributions to society. We acknowledge the sovereignty, land, and law of First Nations were never ceded—this always was and always will be the Land of First Nations people.
